Really Im sugar coating it.

Aqadvisor is wrong. I think its too easy for it to mislead you. Ive seen AqAdvisor gaining traction again and I am really not a fan. So although bigger is usually better you dont need a 16 gallon aquarium.

AqAdvisor is not a reliable resource and shouldnt be relied on really at all. If you want to come back to this aquarium setup quickly you can bookmark this page with all tropical fishes and equipments selected. Just curious as I have heard AqAdvisor tends to overestimate and such and wanted to hear peoples thoughts.

I like to use it to see if Im in the right ballpark in terms of stocking levels. AqAdvisor cant be 100 accurate. I knew it seemed wrong from my research I was just trying to verify my knowledge.

Like say AqAdvisor says my stock is at say 130 is that alright or would that be considered overstocked. With that said AqAdvisor is a great tool. Fish of the Month.

Keep in mind you will still have to do a little research of your own outside of AqAdvisor. And on the point of AqAdvisor yesterday I was victim of a hack-attack when I went to AqAdvisor. It has a lot of flaws so much so that I dont at all recommend bothering with it.

What a lovely avatar you have. Ive seen AqAdvisor gaining traction again and I am really not a fan. The calculations are based on ideal conditions and cannot predict any inconsistencies.

Ive heard on several occasions that long ago a newspaper put that in an article and ever since it blew up all over the place. It uses the inch per gallon rule which I believe correct me if I am wrong is totally false. I was told once that aqadvisor was typically conservative and know the glowlights max size is 13 inches.

If only specific sites arent opening chances are it got corrupt. AqAdvisor says you should be able to keep them all in a 10 gallon tank. So I think theres still a few problems but not as bad as before.

However I have enough faith in my internet security to go back to check it out periodically. It is a simple program put up by someone to give an extremely rough guideline. One of the times the load was too high AqAdvisor said it was 130 of capacity and indeed my filter couldnt keep up.

Please check our article under Beginners Article for more details. If problem still persists it could be DNS fault. I would not rely on aquadvisor.

According to the inch-per-gallon rule I would need a 16 gallon tank which according to AqAdvisor is wrong. Especially for someone new to the hobby of fish keeping. AqAdvisor does NOT use the simple but flawed inch-per gallon rule.

Tank of the Month. It has a lot of flaws so much so that I dont at all recommend bothering with it. The underlying algorithm is much more sophisticated and time consuming to implement.

This page is bookmarkable. So between the two of them youre turning over 1050 liters per hour. Petshops beginner guides etc all use it.

Pet of the Month. Why I dislike AqAdvisor. I was starting to wonder if this was due to some unknown factor on my part haha.

Others everything was fine. Its just saying that your one filter turns over 600 litershour while the other one turns over 450 litershour. I like the bioload aspect of it though Ive gone modestly over recommendation before.

I think its too easy. Behaviour and competition for food isnt considered and some of their recommendations are just boggling. There are no short cuts with stocking.

Given that you have a 110 liter tank you have about 95 tank turnover per hour.
